Originally from Denver, Colorado, I am in the third year of my PhD under the supervision of Dr. Mark Grant at the University of Aberdeen. I consider myself a geometrically minded algebraic topologist, and my research interests include the (projective) span of manifolds and other differential topology questions which can be tackled using (equivariant) obstruction theory.
