On Thursday 6th February 2020, the Piscopia Initiative made its debut public appearance and officially began our journey to encourage women to undertake postgraduate research. We attended Heriot-Watt University’s careers fair and stood amongst big names across many industries from finance to engineering.
The stand and concept were well received by both male and female students, particularly those studying mathematics and adjacent disciplines.
Numerous students signed up to find out more about our programme of events.
We are looking forward to our next visit to Heriot-Watt for our informal postgraduate study information lunch on 27th February 2020!
